Throughout my years using Jamberry Nail Wraps I have tried many a method for removing them. Some that were more successful than others and some that ruined my nails. Let me teach you the method I have now found that works the best so that you don’t have to go through all of the trouble that I did. This is the easiest, safest, and cheapest way to remove Jamberry nail wraps.
How to Remove Jamberry Nail Wraps
The first step is to stick an orange stick under the nail wrap from the side of the nail to break the seal. If this is difficult to do, heat your nail with the mini-heater for a few seconds and then give it a go. You don’t want to push super hard to do this. It should be quite easy and you are just breaking the seal enough so that we can get under it, so it’s not much.
The next thing you need may sound a bit strange but just trust me on this one. You need a paint brush, preferably a small angled one. I normally just grab one from the pack of the ones my kids have laying around the house (well and then keep it separate because it will be dedicated now for my nails). And you’ll also need Nail Wrap & Lacquer Remover. I highly recommend Jamberry’s as it is moisturizing and as I have talked about in my 5 Tips for Healthy Nails post hydration is super important for healthy nails. I also recommend getting the refill bottle because we are only going to be using a little at a time and it’s a better deal.
The next step is to just dip that brush into your remover and gently push it under your nail wrap going side to side across your nail. Never remove your nail wraps from the top down, you always want to go from side to side. If it starts to get a bit more difficult just dip that brush right in, but usually in one dip the whole wrap will come right off. If you have any extra stick residue just dip the brush in and scrub your nail with it and voila! You’ve gotten the wrap off. It’s truly that simple.
As you can see removing a nail wrap is not difficult and now you have no excuses for ripping them off! 🙂 I can’t wait to see what you think and hear about how much healthier your nails are after using this method in the glittery community on facebook.
