Jamberry was started by three sisters who wanted a cheaper and easier way to do their nails. It has now turned into an international company that sells not only nail wraps but nail care, hand care, foot care, lip products, and soon hair care! I just love that when I go out in public and have my nails done I get comments, which lead to new friends and customers. All I have to do is keep my nails pretty and with Jamberry it’s so easy!! I even had my nails done during a recent surgery and the doctor and every nurse commented, even the male anesthesiologist did. You better believe at my follow-up appointment I’ll be taking my doctor a sample. Easey, peasey!!
2. Great excuse for girl time, all the time.
I don’t know about you but as a busy momma, I’m always on the lookout for some girl time, without the kids. I love having friends over (new or old) to do one on ones and learn how to use Jamberry. I’ve been doing direct sales for 20 years and directly before Jamberry was selling children’s books. Now let me tell you, those are not easy to transport from place to place. LOL I have a bad back and part of why I switched to Jamberry was because of how easy it would be to go and do parties and events. I was so shocked when for my first party I could fit everything, easily, into one bag. Plus I always have samples in my purse because they are just so easy and lightweight. This truly is a HUGE benefit of Jamberry.
4. Be part of a company that listens to their consultants and customers.
Like I said above, I’ve been in direct sales for 20 years and with several companies. I’ve never been with a company that listens and takes care of their consultants like Jamberry does. I had a couple of issues when I first started (totally my fault) and I was floored at how quickly I could get through to a real, live person on the phone who helped me. You can also get help via email or the support ticket system.
Not only that but they listen to what we want. Around fall time this last year, there was a wrap that was in our junior size but so many of us wanted it for our own nails. Within a week they announced that it would be coming out as a regular sized nail wrap! That’s just one example of how they listen and do their best to accommodate what we want.
5. Still fairly new has a company with a newer CEO who is excited to move the company forward.
The company is still fairly new (started in 2010) and has a newer CEO who is amazing!!! Elizabeth Thibaudeau is an amazing woman who I have learned so much from in my short time with the company. She is so giving and a true visionary. She shows up in different smaller training groups to do lives, connects with the sales force when she is traveling, and keeps her finger on the pulse of what is going on. One of her goals is to make Jamberry the envy of all other direct sales companies. She is doing it one step at a time. Now is the right time to grab on as she takes this company to new heights. This is one of the very best reasons to join Jamberry.
6. Company contests and incentive trips that are doable for all to earn.
Jamberry is constantly doing contests, whether they are ones announced in the dashboard straight from home office or giveaways done during our weekly fb lives to top performers there is always something being given away. We have smaller fb groups from home office for each of the different levels within the company and there are contests for different activities within there too. I love how giving the company is and how much they love to motivate us.
Plus, there is an awesome incentive trip and it’s way more doable than incentive trips I’ve seen with other companies. For this next year, it is to Costa Rica!!! You have all year to earn it and if you join mid-year the points you need to earn for the trip are less than if you have been a consultant all year. I mean how amazing is that!!!! They want to make it doable whether you join in January or November. I just love this company.
7. The product is consumable.
This was a HUGE non-negotiable when looking for a new company. Having a product that is consumable so that your customers come back for more just makes sense. With follow-up (which we will teach you how to do) you will have great residual sales and a fabulous relationship-based business that brings in the money.
8. The product is fun, making parties fun and selling fun.
There is something so fun about having pretty nails. I love doing parties or one on ones and seeing my customers leave with big smiles on their faces because they love their nails. Everyone has a good time and leaves with pretty nails. When your business is fun it makes it not seem like work at all.
9. You can set your own hours.
I love that I can work around my life. I have four kids and I homeschool them. (Yes, I am nuts. LOL) I have to fit in my business around all that. But that’s the beauty of direct sales, you can set your own hours, you get to decide how little or how much you want to do. There are even ways to schedule out social media posts and such so that you can “work” when you are busy doing other things. This is one of the great reasons to join Jamberry.
10. Jamberry provides awesome tools for you as a consultant to run your business.
Jamberry has some awesome tools that they provide to run your business. Not only is the back office (the consultant website that gives you all the important info) amazingly well done and works seamlessly, BUT there are other programs that they offer. Some are for a small fee but they are branded and incorporated with Jamberry. My favorite is Maven that pulls in your Jamberry info and helps you follow up and keep in contact with your customers. I’ve been very impressed with the tech side of this business.
11. The compensation plan is one of the best in the business, starting you out making 30% commission.
30% commission is a great starting point for a company and all you have to do is get to $200 in sales in a given month to get your first bonus!!! Of course, there are multiple ways to earn more with the company. Plus we get paid each Friday and then a bonus every month. The compensation plan is easy to understand and stair steps you up to promoting to the different levels in leadership. They have made it so easy.
12. You can earn marketing credit each month (no more buying catalogs, flyers, thank you cards, ect.).
This is one of my favorite things!! When you are consistent with your business and holding roughly 4-6 parties a month you will begin to get marketing credit each month to use on different consumable items. I love that when I am active I no longer have to worry about rebuying the catalogs I may have handed out. When you work your business you are rewarded to keep working your business.
13. Tons of training available from the company, your team, and other Jamsisters.
There truly is a plethora of training available. It can be overwhelming at first but don’t worry, I’ll help guide you through it all. We have our JamU from the company as well as training on two different fb groups from the company. There are then two other fabulous facebook groups for our team and a great group with weekly lives and challenges that was started at the beginning of the year where fellow Jamsisters are just sharing the love with the sales force. Honestly, the training is amazing and everyone loves to share what they know.
14. An amazing sisterhood of empowering women that not only benefit your business life but also your personal life.
I have gained so much from being a part of a sisterhood of amazing women. These are women who want to empower other women to go for their dreams, to set their vision high. I have learned so much and it hasn’t just applied to my business. I’m learning to be braver, to change my mindset, and to aim for the stars in all areas of my life.
